Crockpot Shredded Beef

Perfectly shreddable and delicious beef that is easily made in the crockpot. Use the beef for tacos, enchiladas or burritos. Whichever way you choose, you can’t go wrong!

Ingredients
  

  • 3 lb beef chuck boneless pot roast
  • cups red salsa
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix together the salsa, broth, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper.
    1½ cups red salsa, 1 cup beef broth, ¼ cup apple cider vinegar, 2 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, ½ tsp chili powder, 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp salt, ½ tsp pepper
  • Place the meat in the crockpot and pour the salsa mixture over it.
    3 lb beef chuck boneless pot roast
  • Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 5-6 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  • When the meat is fully cooked, remove it from the crockpot and shred. Return shredded meat to the crockpot (with the liquid).
  • Use the shredded beef for stacked enchiladas verdes, in tacos, or for your favorite meal!
