The Best Crockpot Garlic Mashed Potatoes are incredibly easy to make - throw all the ingredients into your crockpot and let the crockpot do all the work! They are the perfect easy side on a weeknight or a simple, hands-off recipe for Thanksgiving dinner.

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 3 lbs red potatoes halved
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 8 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup plain greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup cream cheese
  • 2 Tbsp milk or more to achieve desired consistency
  • ½ tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried chives

Instructions
 

  • Add the potatoes, butter, garlic, chicken broth, salt and pepper to the crockpot.
    3 lbs red potatoes, ¼ cup butter, 8 cloves garlic, ½ cup chicken broth, salt and pepper
  • Cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  • When the potatoes are done cooking (you should be able to easily pierce them with a fork), add all of the remaining ingredients to the crockpot.
    ½ cup plain greek yogurt, ¼ cup cream cheese, 2 Tbsp milk, ½ tsp dried basil, 1 tsp dried chives
  • Whip all of the ingredients together in the crockpot until desired consistency. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

You can leave the mashed potatoes in the crockpot until ready to serve.
