Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup almond butter
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 Tbsp chia seeds
  • tsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ¼ cup mini M&M's

Instructions
 

  • Combine all the ingredients (except the M&M’s) in a large bowl. Mix well to combine.
    2 cups old fashioned oats, 1 cup almond butter, 1/3 cup honey, 2 Tbsp chia seeds, 1½ tsp cocoa powder, 1 tsp vanilla
  • Once mixed, pour the mixture onto a parchment lined cookie sheet.
  • Place another piece of parchment paper on top of the oat mixture and use a rolling pin (or your hands!) to flatten the mixture into a thin layer.
  • Sprinkle the M&M's on top and push them down into the oat mixture.
    ¼ cup mini M&M's
  • Place the cookie sheet in the freezer for an hour and then break into bite sized pieces.
  • Store remaining energy bites in a sealed container in the freezer.
