Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with non-stick parchment paper.
While the oven is preheating, combine all of the meatball ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well with your hands.
1 lb 90% lean ground beef, 3 tbsp olive oil, 1 egg, ¼ cup plain breadcrumbs, ¼ cup white onion, ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese, 2 cloves garlic, 1 tbsp chopped parsley, 1 tsp salt, ¼ tsp black pepper
Use a spoon to scoop the meat mixture. Form into similar sized balls and place on the baking sheet.
Unroll the dough and fold over to get rid of the perforations. Roll out the dough to the original thickness.
8 ounce container of crescent rolls
Use a pizza cutter to cut thin strips of the dough.
Wrap 1-2 pieces of dough around each meatball like bandages, stretching the dough as necessary.
Make sure to leave an open area for the mummy's face!
Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the meatballs reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
If the pastry dough starts browning too fast, put a piece of aluminum foil over the mummy meatballs.
