Portugal was incredible. We started our trip in Porto and it was the perfect place to begin. The boys love to explore new cities via bike, so we went on an e-bike tour (our first time riding electric bikes). It was a good thing we opted for the electric bikes because the hills in Porto are no joke!

The Douro River is a famous river that runs along the banks of Porto. It used to be the main thoroughfare for the transportation of Port wine throughout the country, and then on to Europe. Now, it is mostly admired for its beauty.

We got to enjoy it fully when we went on a yacht and cruised up and down the river. We got snacks, the boys got drinks and Matt and I got to sip Portuguese wine. It was truly what dreams are made of.

To dip or not to dip
That is the question. But, is it really? In my (humble opinion), I think the correct answer is always to dip. Dip makes everything better! Especially this Creamy Green Sauce.
cheeseburger hamburger helper fritters: faq’s
Do I have to use leftover hamburger helper?
No, you don’t, but I find that it is much easier to form the pasta into bite sized pieces when it is cold. Additionally, if the pasta is freshly cooked, it might be really difficult to handle it since it is so hot.
Can I use a different type of hamburger helper?
Of course! Since the vast majority of hamburger helpers contain pasta + meat + sauce, it makes the consistency all about the same, so this recipe would work great for all of them.
What is the best way to reheat these fritters?
Air fryer all the way. This way, they retain their crispiness and it’s quick!
