What Type of Beef Should I Use?
When you are cooking beef in a crockpot, it’s important to use a cut of meat that has good fat content and gets more tender the longer it is cooked. Beef chuck roast is perfect for this exact reason. The longer you cook it, the more tender it becomes. Chuck roast is best cooked low and slow. This leads to perfectly tender and flavorful meat.
