The Best Crockpot Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Made with cream cheese and greek yogurt, these truly are The Best Crockpot Garlic Mashed Potatoes! They are incredibly easy to make and deliciously creamy.
We just got to celebrate Halloween! Although, it definitely wasn’t our typical Halloween. We made the decision to not take the boys trick-or-treating this year. It was definitely a hard decision to make but felt like the right one for our family.
I was feeling a little sad for Jack and Will that they wouldn’t be able to fill a pillowcase with candy this year, so I wanted to make it extra special at home!
I planned a scavenger hunt that had 15 clues and treats all along the way. Plus, they each got a Halloween basket at their final clue. They had so much fun – Jack read all of the clues out loud and he and Will raced around the house trying to find all their treats. Matt and I had so much fun watching them and seeing the giant smiles on their faces.
We also did a bunch of activities throughout the day. Matt built an epic spider web that Jack and Will had to climb through without getting stuck.
We made spooky Jell-O with eyeballs and spiders. The boys got to rescue the spiders and eyeballs. And of course eat some of the Jell-O, too!
But, I think the thing that Jack and Will were most excited about was when we told them that there was no limit to how much candy they could eat on Halloween (which is definitely not something we typically do).
When they went to bed that night, they individually told me it was their best Halloween EVER. It made me so incredibly happy to see them so happy. It was a good Halloween – even in a global pandemic.

And then made EXTRA creamy by cream cheese and Greek yogurt. Oh, and you can do all of this in the crockpot. Does it get any better than this?!
