Ranch Turkey Burgers
Everybody has to have a good turkey burger recipe in their back pocket. My Ranch Turkey Burgers are juicy and packed with flavor! They take less than 10 minutes to make, so they are perfect for every night of the week.
We were able to head up to the cabin this weekend for the 4th of July. The weather was perfect – mid to upper 80’s with a light breeze and the sun shining. We pretty much lived in the water all week, it was so much fun.
We would alternate between swimming, fishing, tubing, skiing, boat rides, campfires and lounging. It was a top notch rotation if you ask me!

It has been so nice to have the cabin as an escape this summer. Since pretty much everything is closed this summer (pools, the zoo, splash pads), the boys especially love going up to the cabin for some fun.
We even got to overlap with Jack and Will’s cousins for a bit – they all had so much fun. It was so great seeing all of them back together again!
Everybody has to have a good burger recipe in their back pocket for the summer. I love turkey burgers! I prefer the taste of them (to hamburger) and they are healthier – win/win, right?! These Ranch Turkey Burgers have all of the ranch flavor (without the actual ranch ?)!
How to Make Ranch Turkey Burgers
- In a large bowl, mix together the turkey, egg, breadcrumbs and all of the seasonings.
- You can mix this together with your hands or a spatula (I prefer to use a spatula)!
- Form the seasoned meat into patties.
- Cook and enjoy!
The Best Way to Cook Turkey Burgers
I love to cook turkey burgers on the stovetop. I find that if you cook them this way, especially if they are covered, they turn out so juicy and delicious.
You definitely can grill them if you’d like – just be sure to not overcook them. Ground turkey is a super lean meat, so it tends to burn quickly on the grill.
Turkey Burger Toppings
Before we talk toppings, let’s talk buns. There are two different types of hamburger buns that I always grab. Pretzel buns and brioche buns. If you want something chewy with a but more flavor, you should grab pretzel buns. If you prefer a soft and buttery bun, then I would recommend brioche buns. You can’t go wrong with either – the choice is yours!

Tips for Involving Kids
- Have them help you mix up all of the ingredients!
- Set up a burger bar so that your kids can choose all of their own toppings..
- There is always going to be a mess when you cook with your kids but, like my little guy Will says, “It’s okay Mom, chefs make messes and then they clean it up.” Have fun cooking with your kids!!
